With Goli And The Golden Temple, Rajinder Pal Singh gives the readers a glimpse of the beauty of the Golden Temple, the Punjabi hospitality, and the joy of exploring different cultures, all coming alive with the beautiful illustrations by Princess Aplinder Kaur. When Goli comes with his parents to Amritsar from Tamil Nadu for a vacation trip, they are welcomed by their Punjabi friends, and from there starts the journey of exploring the culture. It reminded me of the time when I first visited Amritsar, and though there weren't any friends of mine there, I felt wonderful. If you are someone who is looking forward to a comic book for children to let them know about different cultures and the beauty of the diversity of India, this one could be of help.

This is an extremely cute illustration book that teaches kids about the Golden Temple and the Sikh culture. When Goli and his parents, Thangaraj and Madhu from Tamil Nadu, visit Kirat's family in Punjab, Kirat's parents drive them to Amristar. There, they visit the Golden temple.Out of the many illustration books that I have read, this is one of the best. The illustrations are so creative and eye-catchy, and the content is very knowledgeable. This is highly recommended.
